To meet its development needs, Equans Switzerland, based in the Geneva region, offers an internship for a 5th-year engineering school student within our Security & Automation department.

Internship Title:

Integration of AI within various tasks to successfully carry out a Building Management System (BMS) project.

Your mission

In the first instance, you will grasp with our teams the tasks of writing functional analyses, the design and programming of PLCs and BMS supervisors, as well as the specific techniques used in commissioning. Following this discovery phase, you will be asked to implement various AI tools in order to optimize the different tasks of our employees. This internship will allow you to explore cutting-edge technologies and contribute to the intelligent digitalization of our infrastructures. You will have the opportunity to become familiar with PLCs from the Beckhoff, Schneider, SAIA - ranges, as well as Ignition, PC-Vue, Iconics- supervisors.

Your profile

Student in the final year of engineering school or in higher education at a Master's level (bac+5), with a specialization in computer science, industrial computing or automation, you are looking for a six-month end-of-studies internship. You have good programming basics and have a particular interest in artificial intelligence and its concrete applications in technical professions. You wish to discover or deepen your knowledge in PLC programming, supervision and Building Management Systems (BMS). Knowledge of building automation or technical facility management (heating, ventilation, air conditioning, lighting and blinds) is an asset, but not indispensable: our teams will support you in discovering these fields. Rigorous and passionate about technology, you enjoy teamwork and wish to invest yourself within a rapidly developing group.
