Communication and Public Relations Specialist As part of the development of its services, the company Crans-Montana Food and Beverage SA, is looking for: Communication and Public Relations Specialist (M/F) at 100%, CDI YOUR MISSIONS: Act as a spokesperson for the Crans-Montana and Andermatt-Sedrun ski resorts, as needed Manage the external communication of the resorts, including crisis management and sensitive situations, by mitigating and minimizing risks Develop a strategic and proactive communication and media relations plan to promote the resorts to customers and obtain wide and targeted media coverage Develop and execute thoughtful and impactful media relations strategies Evaluate, manage, and execute the hosting of media and influencers in the resorts, including the creation of itineraries, the design of editorial angles, on-site hosting, and the creation of media moments to obtain media coverage Develop media tools, including press releases, fact sheets, talking points, scripts, and coverage monitoring Build and maintain essential relationships with general managers and the management teams of the resorts, serve as a key communication resource for them, and develop strategic messages to serve their internal and external objectives Use strong storytelling skills to bring the resort brand to life across a variety of platforms and media Be on the front line in managing issues and satisfying the needs of various stakeholders Oversee all social media channels of the resorts, leading a team to develop a content production calendar, produce and share authentic and engaging content, and conduct effective community management Manage relationships with external providers, contracts, and deliverables Manage the communication budgets of the resorts Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders across the region Lead the Crans-Montana and Andermatt-Sedrun Communication team by creating a positive and proactive working environment Work closely with the Destination team and the entire Vail Resorts Communications team, as well as with the resorts' Marketing, to ensure the effective implementation of strategies YOUR PROFILE: Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, public relations, or marketing More than 7 years of experience in an external communication or public relations role On-site presence required at the Crans-Montana ski resort, especially during the ski and slope season Strong leader and manager, driven by a desire to develop talent Excellent writer capable of writing nuanced communications on a variety of subjects Develops strategic and innovative ideas and thoughts Capable of executing several overlapping projects simultaneously without difficulty Autonomous person capable of making decisions despite an sometimes uncertain context and adapting their strategy in response to new information Result-oriented, makes things happen, and conveys an ability to create the necessary momentum Experience with all forms of external communication channels, particularly media and social networks Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, including the ability to work with people from various cultures and fields Possesses a strong team spirit and is oriented towards collective success Travel may be required Language proficiency: English and French, German.
