Accounting Manager (m/f/d)

Your tasks:

• Functional and personnel leadership as well as further development of the accounting and cash collection team
• Responsibility for accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger accounting as well as cooperation with payroll
• Ensuring correct and timely recording of all business transactions
• Preparation and responsibility for monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Monitoring of VAT returns and tax requirements
• Cooperation with auditors, tax advisors, and external auditing bodies
• Optimization of accounting processes and further development of the internal control system
• Management of payment runs and receivables management
• Creation of financial key figures and reports for the DACH organization
• Participation in cross-departmental finance and corporate projects

Your profile:

• Degree or higher education in the field of business administration, finance, or accounting or a comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in finance and accounting, ideally with leadership experience
• Sound knowledge of accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger accounting as well as closing processes
• Good knowledge of Swiss tax law and VAT
• Knowledge of Swiss labor law in connection with payroll and financial accounting is an advantage
• Proficient use of MS Office and experience with ERP systems
• Very good German and English skills; French is an advantage
• Independent, structured, and solution-oriented way of working
• Good leadership, communication, and organizational skills
