The focuses of our interdisciplinary intensive care department include, among others, the specialist fields of heart

• visceral and neurosurgery. We offer our patients high-quality nursing services in new premises equipped with state-of-the-art infrastructure.

YOUR TASKS

• Organizational and professional support of the intensive care unit nursing team, as well as active participation in nursing during shift operations
• Independent coordination of the 22 beds of the intensive care unit and the beds of the monitoring station in cooperation with the intensive care physician in the early and late shifts
• Examination and monitoring of the specified quality standards and characteristics of the clinic, in cooperation with the management team
• Instruction, support, and advice of the intensive care unit employees in nursing, professional, as well as administrative and organizational matters
• Responsible and empathetic leadership of a team of approximately 20 employees
• Conducting employee appraisals and qualifications as well as recognizing the resources of employees and their targeted promotion and motivation
• Conducting team meetings, regular exchange with the management team and the vocational trainers, as well as taking on additional responsibilities such as sub-projects in various fields of work (further training, devices, etc.)

YOUR PROFILE

• You are trained as a Dipl. Expert/Expert in Intensive Care NDS HF or have completed an equivalent specialist training in intensive care and have at least five years of professional experience in an intensive care unit of a Swiss acute care hospital
• You may have already gained some initial leadership experience and you enjoy directing, promoting, and developing a team
• You want to combine different profiles in your profession -- with us you can work in a balanced ratio - coordinating, leading, and working at the bedside
• Solution-oriented and entrepreneurial thinking and action
