Project Manager Construction Management 80–100 %
In this key role, you will take responsibility for the successful realization of large construction projects in the residential and commercial sectors. You will lead internal project teams as well as external partners, ensure cost, schedule, and quality goals, and represent the interests of the client with foresight and negotiation skills. With your expertise and your experience, you will contribute significantly to the further professionalization of the project business and set standards for efficient and sustainable project realization.
Your tasks:
Independent management and coordination of demanding construction projects from building permit to commissioning (SIA phases 41 to 53) in the construction management, GP, or general contractor model.
Responsibility for costs, schedules, and quality – including active opportunity and risk management
Management of internal project teams (planning manager, site manager) as well as steering external partners, contractors, and authorities
Advice and support of the clients during the entire process
Quality assurance in tendering, awarding, contracts, invoice approvals, and supplementary management
Preparation of project and monthly closings as well as securing project success
Partnership-based and solution-oriented cooperation with contractors and partners
What you bring:
Training as a Technician HF Hochbau or equivalent
Several years of professional experience (5–10 years) as a Project Manager in structural engineering with a focus on residential and commercial developments, possibly also hotel facilities and care facilities.
Experience in leading internal and external project teams
Enjoyment in coordinating and realizing a wide variety of construction projects
Strong initiative, negotiation skills, cost awareness, as well as direct and open communication
IT affinity with sound knowledge of Office 365, MS Project and Messerli
