Every year, we transport more than 23 million passengers by road and rail. Approximately 570 employees ensure every day, through various and meaningful activities, that our passengers arrive at their destination safely, punctually, and serenely. Together, we make an essential contribution to the development of sustainable mobility in the region. As part of the development of our purchasing organization, we are rebuilding the purchasing organization at RBS. In this newly created function of head of purchasing and logistics, you will actively contribute to shaping processes, standards, and structures, making an essential contribution to professional, economical, and legally compliant procurement.

Your tasks ##

• You actively participate in the implementation of the purchasing and logistics organization at RBS and develop processes, standards, as well as governance structures.
• You develop and manage strategic commodity groups.
• You advise and support specialized departments in their procurement projects and act as a competent business partner.
• You identify synergies and grouping potentials and ensure economical and legally compliant procurement.
• You negotiate commercial and contractual conditions with suppliers and external partners.
• You perform market analyses, offer comparisons, and supplier evaluations.
• You lead the central buyers staff and technically supervise the buyers of the specialized departments.

Your profile ##

• You have a higher education qualification at HES, HEP, or university level, preferably in business administration, purchasing, logistics, or a comparable field.
• You have solid experience in strategic purchasing as well as in public procurement (BöB, VöB, IVöB).
• You have at least three years of management experience and convince with a modern and empowering approach to leadership.
• You possess in-depth experience in managing purchasing processes with SAP or a comparable ERP system.
• You are distinguished by an analytical and structured way of working, great personal initiative, as well as a solution-oriented approach.
