• IT - IT Infrastructure & Operations • Bern • Contracting • Full-time • 10.08.2026 - 31.07.2027 • windows Client, Workplace Your tasks: • Responsibility as a Senior Windows Client Engineer for the further development of a modern workplace and endpoint management environment • Advising Product Owners and stakeholders on topics such as Windows Client Management, Endpoint Management, Cloud Transformation, and Workplace Architecture • Development, operation, and optimization of client management solutions with a focus on Microsoft Intune, Configuration Manager, and cloud technologies • Collaboration in the automation and standardization of deployment processes (including Windows Autopilot, Enrollment, and Provisioning) • Analysis and optimization of security, compliance, and performance settings to ensure stable and secure operations • Supporting 1st and 2nd level support with complex disruptions as well as performing technical analyses • Further development of patch, update, lifecycle, and configuration processes • Collaboration in the introduction of new Windows versions and modern operating models • Development of scripts and automations with PowerShell as well as, if required, with C\#/.NET • Collaboration in IT projects, tests, and continuous improvement initiatives   Your profile: • Completed education in computer science or comparable higher qualification • Several years of experience in Windows Client Engineering, Workplace Engineering, or Endpoint Management, ideally in a senior role • Experience in large and complex IT environments with several thousand managed clients. • Very good knowledge of Windows 10/11, Client Security, Application Deployment, Patch, and Lifecycle Management • Practical experience with Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Configuration Manager, Co-Management, and modern endpoint management architectures • Knowledge of Windows Autopilot, Microsoft Entra Join, Hybrid Join, as well as cloud-based deployment and operating models • Very good PowerShell knowledge; knowledge of C\#/.NET is a plus • Understanding of workplace security topics such as Compliance Policies, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Conditional Access, and Hardening • Analytical, structured, and solution-oriented way of working as well as strong advisory competence • Very good German and English skills mandatory,  French or Italian an advantage
