Specialist for non-destructive testing

You plan and supervise non-destructive testing on valves and transport containers in a nuclear plant operation and document the test results.

Tasks

• Planning, organization and supervision of leak rate tests on valves and transport containers
• Creation and maintenance of repeat testing programs
• Planning and organization of manual tests using various testing methods
• Execution of manual tests (e.g. PT, VT) as well as functional tests on safety valves
• Planning of plant inspections
• Documentation and evaluation of results as well as creation of reports
• Participation in the maintenance coordination group

Profile

• Technician training or natural science/engineering studies
• Several years of professional experience, primarily in the field of non-destructive testing
• Team-oriented, precise and independent way of working
• Very good German skills in spoken and written
• Good English skills
• Good to very good knowledge of Office software and databases is an advantage
• Level 2 certificates according to ISO 9712 for PT, MT, VT, LT are an advantage
