Systems Engineer Electronic Operations (Projects)

• Develop and lead scientific concepts, implementation plans and complex projects in the areas of the Center of Excellence (CoE) Signals, military EKF systems as well as telecommunications, and in the role of the main user representative, represent the unified data platform to the procurement authority and industry
• Independently carry out advanced signal, spectrum, interference and protocol analyses and be responsible for the fundamentals of the Integrated Signal Laboratory (ISL) as well as support the creation of fundamentals in the area of decoder development, signal generation for the benefit of weapon systems and in the area of reverse engineering
• Develop, plan and carry out experiments within the framework of Concept Development and Experimentation (CD&E) and lead internal and external bodies with a focus on signal and protocol analysis
• Develop scientific concepts, studies and analyses across organizations as well as specify innovation projects and their implementation together with armasuisse W+T and / or industry partners

What makes you unique

• Completion of training as an engineer, physicist or mathematician ETH or university degree with many years of professional experience
• Additional training in the field of project management or many years of project management/program management experience is an advantage
• High level of initiative, a pronounced service- and solution-oriented way of working as well as assertiveness and good communication skills
• Good active knowledge of at least one second official language and, if possible, passive knowledge of a third official language as well as good English skills
