Youth Prosecutor 100% # The five regional youth prosecutor's offices investigate and assess crimes committed by young people between the ages of ten and eighteen. They conduct criminal investigations and are responsible for enforcing juvenile criminal law protection measures and penalties. For the Youth Prosecutor's Office Zürich-Stadt, we are looking for an open, flexible, analytically thinking youth prosecutor 100% immediately or by agreement. Tasks await you ### • You conduct and complete criminal investigations against young people, draft dismissal orders and non-prosecution orders, and represent the prosecution in juvenile court. • You exercise single-judge functions within the framework of criminal proceedings (issuance of penal orders). • In cooperation with social workers, you clarify the need for measures and enforce juvenile criminal law judgments and decisions, including protection measures. • You are willing to regularly perform standby duty (including night and weekend). This characterizes you: ### • You have a completed law master's degree and have acquired the bar exam to your advantage. • You have many years of experience in criminal justice and in-depth knowledge in the field of juvenile criminal law. • Your experience in pedagogy and youth welfare (an advantage) and your broad life experience allow you to deal sovereignly and professionally with young people. • Your strengths include your resilience and decision-making ability, your assertiveness, and a human-centered approach. • Thanks to your strong communication skills, you can clearly represent your opinion, but also integrate well into an interdisciplinary team. • You are characterized by flexibility, are willing to learn, resilient, and digitally affine.
