Operational Controller (w/m/d) - Active Reinsurance, part-time or full-time

What you achieve ##

• You support the monitoring of financial and operational performance, prepare key figures, and, together with the team, derive initial recommendations for action including commentary
• You work closely with the specialist departments and contribute to transparency regarding costs, revenues, and KPIs
• You analyze operational processes, identify potential for improvement, and accompany their implementation in the team
• You create and develop reports and dashboards (e.g., Power BI, SAP BW) and prepare analyses in an understandable way
• You work with data from various systems, link them, and contribute to the further development of automated reporting processes, while simultaneously ensuring careful data maintenance
• You participate in projects and gain insights into strategic issues and the further development of controlling

What you bring ##

• You are in a Bachelor's degree program (FH/Uni) in business administration with a focus on controlling, accounting, or finance or have recently completed it
• Knowledge of accounting, good analytical thinking skills, and an interest in understanding and applying financial and business contexts
• Practical experience in financial and operational controlling is an advantage
• You have initial experience in reporting and in handling BI tools (e.g., Power BI, SAP Business Warehouse)
• You are able to quickly grasp even complex issues, prepare them in a structured manner, and explain them clearly
• You have very good German and English skills in spoken and written form, other languages are an advantage
