For one of our industrial partners, we are looking for a Process Engineer For one of our industrial partners, we are looking for a Process Engineer Machining to drive the continuous improvement of manufacturing processes and the development of new machining projects. Process Engineer Entry date: To be agreed Contract: Indeterminate Location: Nord Vaudois Expected missions: Collaborate closely with production teams to achieve continuous improvement objectives in terms of quality, productivity and operational performance. Analyze the performance and capabilities of existing equipment, then propose and implement solutions to optimize their use, strengthen their reliability and develop new processes. Lead continuous improvement projects for manufacturing processes, from identifying opportunities to implementing robust standards, based on recognized methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma and DMAIC. Design, formalize and deploy work instructions in accordance with TWI standards, while supporting teams in their appropriation. Work in collaboration with the Production, Quality, Methods, R\&D and Sales departments to effectively meet customer requirements and project needs. Ensure the complete development of new machining processes, particularly in the context of prototype and small-series projects with high added value. Program, optimize and validate CNC machines for machining technical materials, including sapphire, ensuring industrial feasibility, repeatability of operations and quality of produced parts. Define machining strategies, process parameters, tools and manufacturing methods adapted to customer technical specifications. Conduct the development of processes, from initial tests to their industrial validation and industrialization. Lead process development projects from start to finish: needs analysis, feasibility studies, testing, validation and production. Act as technical referent on prototype projects and ensure coordination between different internal and external stakeholders. Develop innovative and pragmatic solutions that meet high technical requirements from customers. Carry out and supervise feasibility and industrialization studies for specific or customized products. Actively participate in resolving complex production, quality, process capability and manufacturing drift issues. Required qualifications: Degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent recognized qualification. Basic technical training in the field of machining. Minimum 5 years of experience Significant experience in managing industrial projects and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes. Solid skills in industrialization and optimization of machining processes. A Lean, Six Sigma or equivalent certification is a valued advantage. Natural leadership, ability to mobilize teams and excellent relational and communication skills. Strong analytical and synthesis skills, with a rigorous, structured and methodical approach. Initiative spirit, solution-oriented and ability to be a proposal force. Intermediate to advanced level of English (B2 minimum).
