HYDRO Exploitation SA is an important service provider, active notably in the field of operation and maintenance of energy production facilities. We bring all necessary skills under one roof, from maintenance personnel to engineering.

We operate and maintain a fleet of facilities including more than 40 hydroelectric power plants. Their installed capacity corresponds to approximately 22 % of the hydraulic power available in Switzerland (25 % with pumping stations). Together, the facilities we operate produce approximately 16 % of the hydraulic electricity in Switzerland.

Thanks to our unique expertise, we offer our clients high value-added services, meeting their varied needs as well as their high requirements in terms of quality. Our range of services is aimed at electricity companies, public institutions, transport companies, as well as industry. We operate mainly in Switzerland, but also occasionally carry out missions abroad.

Civil Engineer

Workplace: Hybrid (Sion and interventions in Haut-Valais)

Your mission:

You take charge of the realization of studies and projects in the field of civil engineering for the operation and maintenance of hydroelectric power plants, including sites in Haut-Valais.

Your tasks:

• Development and implementation of maintenance and renovation projects for hydroelectric power plants
• Participation in all phases of the project, from the feasibility study to completion and commissioning
• Participation in various engineering projects with multidisciplinary skills
• Ensuring technical support for the different production sites
• Drafting technical and financial offers for our clients

Your skills:

• ETH or HES graduated civil engineer
• Professional experience in the field of construction or maintenance of facilities
• Knowledge of underground structures or hydraulics is an asset
• Experience in project management
• Ability to synthesize, sense of organization and overview
• Ability to work in a team as well as independently
• Native German or French speaker with very good knowledge of the other language
