The emergency center has 10 treatment cubicles including a resuscitation room and plaster room, as well as a Fast Track with two treatment places. Our emergency center is assigned to the Clinic for Internal Medicine, a central and significant service center of Spital Zollikerberg. The clinic cares for over 3,300 inpatient patients annually as well as more than 450 patients in the interdisciplinary intensive care unit. The Interdisciplinary Emergency Center is the interface for all specialist disciplines represented at Spital Zollikerberg, including the Clinic for Internal Medicine with gastroenterology, cardiology, pneumology, endocrinology/diabetology, oncology, infectiology, intensive care medicine, emergency medicine, acute geriatrics and palliative medicine, as well as general surgery, orthopedics with specialized spinal surgery, radiology, gynecology and obstetrics with neonatology.
