Initial situation ###

Medium-sized, international, with Swiss roots - and a collegial environment where people know each other. Our client is looking for someone with experience in sea freight, who independently manages import and export shipments and feels comfortable in a personal working environment.

Tasks ###

• processing of FCL and LCL sea freight shipments in import and export
• creating and checking B/Ls
• negotiating freight rates with shipping lines and partners
• purchasing and coordinating shipping line services
• calculating, submitting and following up on transport offers
• commissioning customs declarants
• continuous shipment tracking and support
• billing and archiving of orders

Requirements ###

• completed commercial training in the field of international freight forwarding logistics or similar
• practical experience in the processing of sea freight transports
• independent and structured way of working

IT ###

MS-Office - good knowledge

Languages ###

German: m+s very good
English: m+s good

Start of position ###

short-term or by arrangement

Work location ###

Office St. Gallen or Kloten - by arrangement
