Your areas of responsibility include:

• Overall management of the housekeeping department and its subordinate employees
• Ensuring efficient and result-oriented processes
• Monitoring, controlling and coordinating an efficient personnel deployment planning
• Responsible for roster design and holiday planning
• Daily control of digital time recording via time clock
• Responsible for employee development as well as continuous training
• Responsible for cleanliness in and around the hotel
• Management of the laundry as well as the procurement and correct storage of cleaning agents
• Responsible for cleanliness in all Back of House areas
• Coordination of deep cleanings
• Monitoring and ensuring the operational processes in the housekeeping department
• Securing as well as increasing guest and employee satisfaction
• Compliance with the specifications according to hygiene regulations (HACCP)
• Evaluation and provision of the required statistics and reporting
• Responsible for the ordering system in consultation with the hotel management
• Management of the lost and found (Lost & Found)
• Conducting probationary period interviews, appraisal and annual goal interviews
• Maintaining maintenance lists and independent feedback to the technical department
• Compliance with hotel standards and quality specifications
