After-school care manager or childcare specialist 4 days a week (excluding Wednesday), 60-65 %

We are looking for reinforcement as of 01.11.2026 or by arrangement.

Tasks ##

As a specialist, you are responsible for lower school or middle school students 4 days per week. You work in a team with childcare specialists and are supported in the catering and care areas by childcare assistants. You take your holidays during the school holidays. Exact details regarding working hours can be discussed in a personal interview with the Care Management.

Your tasks include:

• Promotion and support of the children in their development process and their social skills
• Leading large groups of children, as well as parent contacts
• Domestic and administrative work
• In-depth cooperation with teachers within the framework of Tagesschule 2025 (regular exchange, joint events, participation in class council, etc.)
• Collaboration in the holiday care and on school-free days

Profile ##

• A completed degree in Social Work (FH / HF), a teaching diploma, or a comparable pedagogical degree (all foreign diplomas and specialist certificates must mandatory include a Swiss equivalence certificate)
• Apprenticeship as Fachfrau/Fachmann Betreuung or Kleinkindererzieher/in EFZ required (all foreign diplomas and specialist certificates must mandatory include a Swiss equivalence certificate)
• Professional experience in the care of children (out-of-school care, nursery, home)
• Enjoyment of collaborating with teaching and care staff
• Flexible, motivated, and balanced personality, with enjoyment in interacting with people of different cultures, as well as willingness for interdisciplinary cooperation within the school team

About us ##

The Schule Milchbuck is located in the Unterstrass district and offers a comprehensive and professional range of family-supplementary care. For kindergarten-aged and compulsory school-aged children and adolescents of all ages, the lunch-evening after-school care centers are available integrated into the school building and offer students space for play, relaxation, and social learning. The morning table offers breakfast and care until the start of school.
