THE JOB

In order to strengthen our Product Management department, we are looking for a Junior Product Manager.

Reporting to the Head of Product Management, you will participate in the development and launch of product lines, from the first creative reflections to their market release. At the heart of multidisciplinary teams, you will collaborate notably with Design, Quality, Purchasing, Marketing, Sales, and external partners.

YOUR MISSIONS

• Responsibility for the development of product lines according to the planning established by the Head of Product Management:
• Participation in the elaboration of product design
• Establishment of planning and monitoring of deadlines
• Consultation and follow-up with suppliers, steering the convergence of design-production-costs
• Negotiation of component prices in collaboration with Purchasing
• Establishment of price calculations
• Steering the manufacturing of prototypes
• Establishment of technical documentation
• Coordination of the product launch in close collaboration with the relevant departments until market release:
• Participation in the Product communication plan in collaboration with Marketing
• Providing Marketing and Sales with the information and tools necessary for the promotion of Products during the launch phase
• Internal and external presentations of novelties, participation in Product training in subsidiaries
• Long-term monitoring of product lines:
• Sales analysis in collaboration with Sales
• Participation in the elaboration of the Product Plan
• Control and coordination of watches for the Marketing and Sales departments
• Preparation of product presentations and roadmaps as well as product tables
• Updating user manuals
• Development of special packaging
• Preparation and distribution of product technical sheets
• Organization of internal training
• Analysis of market trends

YOUR PROFILE

• CFC as a commercial employee
• Higher education in marketing with a 1st successful experience in Product development
• 2 to 5 years of experience in watchmaking within a Product development or Marketing department
• Experience in project management with the ability to maintain an overview in a multidisciplinary environment
• Strong interest in product marketing
• Understanding of technical watchmaking issues
• Keen sense of communication
• Team spirit
• Leadership spirit and sense of initiative
• Strong design sensitivity and up to date with current trends
• Analytical and solution-oriented mindset
• Persuasion and negotiation skills
• Native French speaker with very good knowledge of English
• Proficiency in MS Office products
• SAP knowledge is an asset
