6 to 9 month mission - Microsoft 365 Consultant – Data Protection (DLP/DRM)

As part of our personnel delegation activity, offered in addition to our specialized Data & IA consulting services, Synchrotech is supporting one of its partners in the search for a technical-functional Microsoft 365 Consultant.

As security policies are already defined, the objective is to support the various IT teams in their concrete application, to reinforce best practices and to prevent data leak risks.

You will intervene with several IT teams working on different programs, with a mission combining technical understanding, awareness, and operational support.

Your missions

• Support IT teams in the application of data protection rules on their various projects.
• Analyze file storage, sharing, and protection practices in order to identify any deviations from security rules.
• Raise awareness among teams regarding data leak risks and help them adopt best practices.
• Provide technical-functional support on document protection solutions (DLP/DRM).
• Participate in the implementation, testing, and configuration of protection solutions in the Microsoft 365 environment.
• Collaborate with technical teams to resolve difficulties encountered and ensure the follow-up of corrective actions.

Your profile

• Training in computer science or experience deemed equivalent.
• First experience of 3 years in a Microsoft 365 environment.
• Good knowledge of data protection principles (DLP/DRM), document classification, and access rights management.
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365 environments.
• Initial experience with Microsoft Purview, Microsoft Information Protection, or Rights Management would be an asset.
• Ability to understand technical issues and to communicate with different IT teams.
• Good interpersonal skills, pedagogy, and ability to popularize technical subjects.
• Curiosity, autonomy, perseverance, and desire to develop your skills.
