Machine Operator, Paper Technologist - Paper Production - in a 4-shift system

To strengthen our team in Niederbipp, we are looking for you as soon as possible as Machine Operator / Paper Technologist Paper Production in a 4-shift system 100% (m/f/d) Tasks: • Machine operation: You operate and monitor our paper production machines according to production specifications and ensure stable and efficient operation of the plant. In doing so, you keep an eye on the entire production process. • Coordination in shift operation: The shift report is just as much a part of your tasks as reacting to malfunctions or deviations in the production process. Additionally, you perform process-relevant adjustments on the machines. • Participation in the production process: You actively participate in setup processes and work preparation and support the team in continuously improving production processes. • Quality assurance: You carry out quality controls during production independently and initiate the necessary corrections if required. Profile: • Technical training or industrial experience: Ideally, you have completed mechanical or technical training (e.g., plant operator, mechanic, locksmith, plumber or similar). Alternatively, you have several years of experience in handling industrial plants. • Paper technologist? Not a must. Training as a paper technologist is a plus, but not a requirement. Motivation and technical interest are much more important – we will teach you everything else. We like to develop committed specialists on the job towards paper technology and support corresponding further training. • Technical understanding and team spirit: Manual dexterity, technical interest, as well as a reliable and independent way of working characterize you. In addition, you enjoy working in a team and can communicate well in German. • Shift readiness: You feel comfortable in a 4-shift operation. We work in a rolling 7-day shift model, where seven consecutive days are worked in the same shift – also on weekends and public holidays. Between shift changes, you have 56 to 80 hours of free time available depending on the rhythm. • System knowledge: Ideally, you have experience with process control systems and are familiar with MS Office. • Mobility: For a reliable start to your shift, you have your own car or good public transport connections.
