Take on responsibility with us as: PROJECT MANAGER / PROJECT ENGINEER STRUCTURAL ENGINEERING BUILDING CONSTRUCTION 80-100% - RAPPERSWIL YOUR TASKS AS A PROJECT MANAGER: Project management of diverse and demanding new construction and renovation projects from design to commissioning Development of structural engineering solutions for excavation pits, foundations, and structural systems in various construction methods in building construction, in cooperation with clients, architects, and specialists inside and outside of AFRY Project management while adhering to quality, budget, and schedule targets Leadership and technical guidance of the project team Support the branch management in the acquisition of new projects YOUR TASKS AS A PROJECT ENGINEER: Independent processing of construction projects across all construction phases Writing reports, determining construction costs, and preparing tender documents Creation of structural models, planning, and dimensioning of excavation pits, foundations, and structural systems in different construction methods (reinforced concrete, steel, wood) Collaboration in interdisciplinary teams inside and outside of AFRY YOUR OPPORTUNITIES: Independent processing and management of projects Internal training on planning and project management topics (e.g., BIM, project management) Close cooperation and active exchange with specialists inside and outside of AFRY Support the branch management in maintaining existing and establishing new customer contacts Working with state-of-the-art design applications Flexible working methods with modern infrastructure, at a very centrally located site YOUR PROFILE: Completed degree in civil engineering from ETH or FH Preferably several years of professional experience as a project engineer and manager in structural engineering across all design and realization phases In-depth knowledge in the field of statics / construction for excavation pits, foundations, and building structures as well as in the application of corresponding FEM calculation software (DC-Grundbaustatik, AxisVM, Cubus) Communicative, independent-working, and cost-conscious personality Very good oral and written communication skills in German Become part of the AFRY success story!
