Embedded Electronics Development Engineer (m/f)

Your tasks

• Development of complex hardware for embedded systems (incl. specifications, circuit concept, schematic, layout, component design, testing, documentation)
• Development and design of electronics for motor controllers (power stages, gate drivers, current and voltage measurement, protection circuits, EMC-compliant design)
• Definition of the system architecture and its requirements, taking functional safety into account
• Management of sub-projects in the electronics area
• Support of the project manager in planning, implementation, and coordination in the electronics specialist department
• Creation of circuit concepts and functional prototypes
• Creation of manufacturing documents such as schematics, bills of materials, and print layouts
• Management and maintenance of electronic assemblies in the ERP system
• Creation of testing equipment and conducting tests
• Cooperation with electronics suppliers and external certification bodies

Your qualifications

• Electrical engineer, physicist, or comparable degree (ETH/TU) with experience in electronic circuit development
• Several years of experience in the development of embedded systems
• Very good knowledge in the development of electronic circuits
• Experience in the layout of complex printed circuit boards and good knowledge of EMC-compliant circuit and layout design
• Good SAP and ECAD knowledge, ideally Altium Designer
• Very good knowledge of functional safety
• Experience in the field of mechatronics, drive technology, and power electronics
• Conceptual and analytical thinking at the system level
• Enjoyment of a wide range of tasks and activities
• Independent, reliable, structured, and goal-oriented way of working
• Good German and English skills in spoken and written form
