In the medical services area, we are looking for motivated personalities for the start of training in September 2027 and March 2028.

Training as an expert paramedic HF

Schutz & Rettung, combined as a service department of the Sicherheitsdepartement, unites the professional and militia fire departments, the medical services, and the emergency dispatch center for the emergency numbers 118 and 144. In addition, civil protection, fire police, and a training center with an attached Higher Vocational School for Rescue Professions belong to the largest rescue organization in Switzerland. Intervention and prevention units protect and rescue people, animals, material assets, and the environment around the clock in the city of Zürich, at Zürich airport, and in the agglomeration.

Tasks

We will train you to be a rescue professional! You will receive practical know-how in our rescue service, and theoretical specialist knowledge will be imparted to you at our Higher Vocational School for Rescue Professions by experienced lecturers and specialists.

Profile

Secondary level II qualification (training with a federal certificate of proficiency EFZ or Matura/specialized middle school diploma)
Qualification as a Dipl. Nursing Professional HF (for the shortened training)
Age from 21 years
Flawless reputation (criminal record and IVZ)
Flawless special private extract (must be available at the start of training)
Very good oral and written German skills
Physical, psychological, and social suitability/resilience
Driving license Cat. B with two years of driving experience and Cat. C1/D1, Code 121 (must be available at the start of training)
