• 17 July 2026 • 80 - 100% • Indefinite duration • Opfikon, Zurich The Media & Digital Communications Manager supports global media relations and digital communication efforts at Climeworks. Reporting to the Head of Media & Issues, this role ensures the smooth running of the press office, supports media engagement, and enables high-quality and consistent external communications across media and digital channels. This is an operational role combining media support, content coordination, and digital publishing. It is suitable for a proactive, high-performing, detail-oriented communicator who thrives in a dynamic environment and is comfortable working in a team and with senior stakeholders.   • Media Monitoring & Analytics: You monitor global media coverage, track key narratives, sentiments, and trends, and provide media analysis and reports to support communication strategies and stakeholder engagement. • Press Office Operations: You manage incoming media inquiries, coordinate timely responses, and work closely with experts and senior spokespeople to ensure effective media engagement. • Journalist Engagement: You maintain and develop journalist networks in priority markets, identify media opportunities, and ensure that media databases and processes remain accurate and up to date. • Media Relations & Campaign Execution: You support media awareness and relationship development, particularly in the DACH region, and contribute to the success of localized media campaigns, announcements, and communication initiatives. • Content Development: You write and review media responses, Q&A, briefing documents, and spokesperson preparation materials, ensuring a consistent and impactful message across all channels. • Digital Communications: You publish and coordinate content on websites and social platforms, supporting digital communication activities and ensuring alignment with broader communication goals and narratives. • Communication Experience: You hold a degree in Media, Journalism, Communication, or a similar field and have at least 5 years of experience in media relations, communication, journalism, or an equivalent role. • Content & Storytelling Skills: You are an excellent writer and editor capable of translating complex subjects into clear, engaging, and audience-appropriate messages. • Media & Digital Expertise: You have experience with media monitoring tools and databases such as Meltwater or Cision, as well as publishing content on websites and social networks. • Organization & Stakeholder Management: You are highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities while collaborating with senior stakeholders and executives in dynamic environments. • Collaborative Spirit: You are proactive, reliable, solution-oriented, and enjoy working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality communication results. • Language Skills: You are proficient in English and German (and/or Swiss German). Salary: At Climeworks, salary ranges are assigned to a position based on the seniority level and the local market median for similar roles, based on external benchmarking surveys. Individual compensation depends on your skills, experience, and the value you bring to the team.
