Since its creation and relying today on 30 years of experience, Symbios has been the pioneer of custom implant manufacturing technology and has constantly improved it, thus becoming the company with the greatest expertise in this field worldwide.* *It employs approximately 270 employees across Europe, of which more than 200 are based at its headquarters in Yverdon-les-Bains.* For our Quality Engineering department, we are currently looking to fill a position as Supplier Quality Engineer ### Mission ## Ensure the quality and compliance of Symbios products, by guaranteeing that suppliers respect GMP as well as the current normative and regulatory requirements (ISO 13485, MDR 2017/745), and that the manufacturing processes of semi-finished products and blanks delivered to Symbios are mastered and under control. Thus contributing to the overall performance of Symbios and, ultimately, to the improvement of patients' quality of life through safe and compliant products. Responsibilities ## • Establish, enforce, and maintain Quality Agreements with Symbios suppliers, in accordance with the requirements of EN ISO 13845:2016 • Ensure the transfer of Symbios products/processes to suppliers. Verify project feasibility, the relevance of plans and specifications, support the supplier's industrialization and quality control strategy, to ensure times/deadlines and product quality. • Analyze supplier non-conformities and follow up on supplier corrective actions until proof of their effectiveness. • Align the measurement and control methods of the supplier and Symbios. Size sampling or SPC control sizes to ensure the quality of Symbios products manufactured by suppliers. • Plan and execute supplier audits. Evaluate suppliers, assist in decision-making and the choice of procurement strategies. • Quality control by exploiting data analysis. Capitalize as much as possible on the quality control performed by suppliers and reduce internal costs for Symbios. • Use and become an expert in the company's IT tools ERP and MES. Profile sought ## • HES engineering training (or equivalent training) in mechanical engineering or microtechnology • 3 to 5 years of experience in an engineer role in the Medtech industry or in a highly regulated industry. • Experience in interaction with suppliers • Good mastery of Microsoft Office office tools, Power BI, and ease in learning new software • Perfect mastery of French and English orally and in writing, German would be a plus • Dynamic and pragmatic personality, endowed with a sense of responsibility, results-oriented and capable of adapting with flexibility. • Good analytical spirit and good writing skills, comfortable in an environment structured by a quality system. • Autonomous, confident in one's judgment, with a real ability to organize and lead projects to completion. • Good general mechanical and scientific knowledge.
