In this role, you take responsibility for demanding benefit cases in occupational pensions - where regulatory foundations, legal provisions, medical assessments, and coordination issues with other social insurances come together. You ensure that benefit claims are processed correctly, traceably, and promptly. In doing so, not only your expertise and analytical thinking count, but also your intuition for different life situations. What you do You process benefit cases in disability and death in occupational pensions (BVG) correctly and promptly and are responsible for the payout. You examine and evaluate legal and medical aspects as well as the technical implementation for every benefit case. You work closely with other social insurances, clarifying coordination issues. You calculate benefits based on regulatory and legal provisions. You compose and process demanding correspondence with customers, pension institutions, authorities, brokers, and lawyers - both in writing and orally. You actively shape and improve processes and contribute your own ideas for further development. What you bring Several years of professional experience in the area of BVG, preferably in benefit processing. A completed commercial training, gymnasiale Maturität, a social insurance or pension fund specialist certificate, or a higher technical college. Confident handling of various IT applications and openness to digital tools. Proficient German in speaking and writing; any additional national language is a plus. Personal responsibility, efficiency, and enjoyment of cooperation in a team.
