The Solothurn Prison (JVA) operates stationary enforcement of sentences and measures for adult men. For the Solothurn Prison, we are looking for a Carpentry Employee, 50-100%, immediately or by arrangement at the Deitingen location. Your Responsibility Within the carpentry workshop and the mechanical workshop, you take over and plan orders, which you complete purposefully and reliably with the involvement of the inmates. As part of our agogics team, you work with the inmates according to work-agogic criteria. In doing so, you offer the inmates development potential for self- and professional competencies. You commit yourself to the instruction, promotion, and support of the male adult inmates in everyday work. You manage the reporting of the admitted persons in your work area and ensure representation at networking meetings with internal and external specialists. With exemplary conduct and commitment, you lead by example in the execution of work. Your Profile You have completed training as a Carpenter EFZ with some years of experience and preferably bring comprehensive knowledge in handling CNC machines. You can demonstrate further training in work/social pedagogy or as a specialist in corrections, or are willing to complete corresponding further training. As a team player, you enjoy interdisciplinary cooperation with other professional groups. You like to take on responsibility in an activity that is equally challenging and meaningful.
