Job description The production planning expert plays a crucial role in optimizing production processes and managing workflow. They are responsible for the organization, supervision, and direction of the production planning strategy. The scheduler must adapt production dates based on the arrival of components as well as the load and capacity of workstations. A key factor is close collaboration with the different departments of the company to ensure efficient and uninterrupted project execution. Your main tasks • Monitor all manufacturing orders. • Reschedule production dates based on the arrival of components. • Adjust schedules according to the load and capacity of workstations. • Use SAP to manage manufacturing orders. • Collaborate with production, supply chain, and other departments to optimize processes. • Ensure communication and coordination between the different departments. • Propose improvements to optimize planning and resource management. • Supervise the project execution process to guarantee deadline compliance, optimal use of production resources, and cost reduction. • Anticipate risks of disruptions and adjust schedules to mitigate them. • Participate in production meetings and provide regular reports on the progress of manufacturing orders. Your profile • Training in supply chain or a related field. • Experience with SAP software. • Experience in project management and planning execution. • Degree or minimum 5 years of experience in the field. • Proficiency in SAP. • Supply chain management skills. • Team management skills. • Excellent communication skills. • Problem-solving and decision-making abilities. • Ability to work in a team and manage teams. • Proactivity and initiative. • Open-mindedness and adaptability to change. • Ability to work under pressure.
