Pronat Umweltingenieure AG is a renowned environmental engineering office based in Upper Valais (Brig), where a large part of our work takes place. Our field of activity extends from environmental impact assessments and environmental construction supervision to various expert reports and mapping, as well as cultural landscape projects, success monitoring, or water revitalizations.

Job Description

Become part of our young, dynamic team. Take on responsibility as a project manager for varied projects that combine office work with fieldwork. Contribute to the environmentally friendly design of small and large projects in the Alpine region with impacts on the environment, climate, and energy supply in Switzerland.

Your Tasks

Depending on your education, your strengths, and your preferences, you can work for us in a varied, tailor-made combination of the following tasks:

• Project Management: Environmental area from preliminary project and public inquiry project to the execution of various construction projects. Participation in project planning, preparation of environmental impact assessments and reports, undertaking environmental construction supervision
• Fieldwork in the field of flora & fauna
• Processing of contaminated site projects: Historical and technical preliminary investigation, planning and implementation of remediation projects in cooperation with the Dienststelle für Umwelt Wallis
• Work in the field of aquatic ecology: Renaturation and revitalization projects with IBCH surveys, projects on sunk-weir remediations, fish passability, and residual water calculations

Your Profile

• University degree: Environmental sciences, environmental engineering, biology, or a comparable discipline
• Communication and teamwork skills both within our small team and in contact with our customers as well as our interdisciplinary project partners and clients
• Pragmatic and solution-oriented way of working, whereby you recognize connections and quickly find viable solutions for interdisciplinary tasks
• Project management experience preferred, but we are also willing to introduce you to this work step-by-step with support
• Very good German skills (C2) in speaking and writing, good French skills preferred
