Commit yourself with us to the vision of a solidary society, as Care Night and Weekend Asylum Center (80-100%) temporary, Kollbrunn Caritas Schweiz has been operating asylum centers at various locations in the Canton of Zurich on behalf of the canton since March 2024. The center is located in a rural environment directly by the Kollbrunn train station and houses a maximum of 130 families and individuals. We are looking for reinforcement for our team to care for the refugees at night and especially on weekends. Your tasks * Introduction, instruction and accompaniment of the residents on topics such as nutrition, hygiene, order and cleanliness * Co-responsibility for creating a good house atmosphere * Co-responsibility for compliance with house rules and safety in the center * Creation of reports as well as internal and external information transfer * Implementation of cleaning and hygiene concepts * Regular rounds and presence * Participation in activities and animation * Participation in monthly team meetings * Deployment in shift service with sole responsibility * Regular participation in early, late and weekend shifts -- readiness for deployment 365 days a year according to deployment planning. Our requirements * Completed training * Experience in the migration sector and/or youth work desirable * Good knowledge of the German language as well as good oral knowledge in English, further foreign language skills an advantage * Good computer user skills (MS-Office) * High resilience and robustness as well as conflict management competence * Flexibility, resilience and assertiveness * Initiative, independence and a high degree of work organization * Readiness to perform temporally varying work shifts * Cultural openness * High sense of responsibility and duty Workplace: Canton of Zurich (Kollbrunn) Start date: immediately or by arrangement Caritas offers attractive employment conditions and an open working atmosphere in a committed team.
