Your tasks
Instrumentation with most modern surgical techniques and devices during operations in the specialties of visceral and vascular surgery, traumatology, orthopaedics, gynaecology, urology, ENT, oral and maxillofacial surgery, as well as plastic surgery
Preparation and post-processing of surgical instruments and materials
Ensuring compliance with hygiene and safety standards
Participation in the optimization of surgical processes as well as taking on specialist responsibility
Readiness for night and weekend shifts
Further tasks for the additional function Vocational Training:
Decides independently on all specialist matters according to the training level of the apprentices and students
Active participation in instruction days and in working groups
Informs the department management regarding nursing and nursing technical deficiencies
Assistance in the development, implementation and evaluation of adapted internal guidelines with the Nursing Expert Lead regarding vocational training in the OR
Collaboration in the planning, implementation and evaluation of ward-relevant projects regarding vocational training in the OR
Contribution of own ideas to improve the processes regarding vocational training in the OR
Your profile
Completed training as a Fachperson Operationstechnik HF or equivalent specialist training
Professional experience in the above-mentioned specialties is an advantage
Resilient, service-oriented, team player and technical skill
Additional profile for Vocational Training:
Very good IT knowledge and confident German in speaking and writing
Experience as a daily contact person for apprentices in nursing
At least two years of professional experience in the nursing profession
Further education SVEB 1 and vocational trainer course (or readiness to complete)
