Your responsibility :

• Control management of members of the army and civil protection using various databases
• Summoning participants for training courses, orientation days and recruitments
• Processing requests for leave and service postponements
• Providing information and advice to those liable for conscription and service

Your background :

• Completed vocational training in the commercial sector with several years of professional experience or equivalent training
• Good knowledge of the army and/or civil protection, preferably having performed military or protection service
• Teamwork skills, flexibility and independent working
• Excellent knowledge of the German language in spoken and written form
• Good knowledge in handling MS-Office products

Amt für Militär und Bevölkerungsschutz (AMB)

The Amt für Militär und Bevölkerungsschutz (AMB) is an operational, training and administrative organization. The AMB is a department with around 50 employees within the Security Directorate of the Canton of Basel-Landschaft.
The AMB is responsible for the operations of the civil protection operational unit, the training in civil protection as well as of personnel and officers in civil protection. Administrative activities include, among others, army tasks on behalf of the Confederation or the operation of the Kaserne Liestal. Furthermore, operational and precautionary planning is created in the AMB, as well as logistics and administration services are provided.
