The Hochschule Luzern – Informatik is the first computer science department at a university of applied sciences. The AI Robotics Lab at the Department of Computer Science and Information Technology investigates the application possibilities of artificial intelligence and robotic systems in various areas. Examples include Physical AI, human-machine collaboration with cobots, as well as the navigation of mobile robotics. The team researches algorithms for perception, motion planning, and autonomous decision-making. For our lab, we are looking for an experienced and committed specialist to strengthen our team in application-oriented research and development. Research Associate AI & Robotics 50 – 100% Your tasks Software development and programming of algorithms for the perception, motion planning, and decision-making of robots Experimental research & laboratories: Setup of test environments and demonstrators, conducting scientific studies, support at robotics events and hackathons Support of the development team in all phases of the research and development process, from concept development to practical implementation, as well as shared responsibility for the hardware infrastructure of the lab (cobots, mobile platforms, walking robotics, sensor systems, ...)
