Operator Material Supply Chapter - GMP / Pharma production / German / MES

Background: Basel Drug Substance Manufacturing produces Large and Small Molecule APIs (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients) for commercial and clinical supply with its 650 employees. We have modern, highly automated production facilities at the Basel site for the production of antibodies. The manufacture and execution of these processes take place in compliance with cGMP.

The perfect candidate: Possesses completed vocational training as a Pharmatechnologe and good GMP understanding. The candidate brings experience with automated systems in a GMP environment, as well as IT affinity and MES knowledge. Furthermore, the candidate has good German skills in speaking and writing.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

• GMP-compliant cleaning of small parts and mobile plant components
• GMP-compliant manufacture and autoclaving for production-critical setups, e.g., starting from the cleaned small parts
• Support in process ancillary activities, such as sample management or cleaning verifications
• GMP-compliant documentation of workflows
• Operation and monitoring of plants, operation and electronic documentation in the Manufacturing Execution System (MES)
• Troubleshooting within the area of responsibility
• Participation in the maintenance and repair of plants and devices
• Goods receipt and delivery of SAP batch-managed materials, as well as shelf-life and visual control with corresponding measures
• Timely supply and cleaning of materials for the ISO area according to GMP and MES specifications
• Creation and provision of Shopping Carts
• Waste disposal within the VS as well as cooperation with the site disposal
• Management of various warehouses

Must Haves:

• Completed vocational training or similar; preferably Chemikant or Pharmatechnologe
• Experience with automated systems in a GMP environment
• IT affinity, MES knowledge
• Fluent German skills in speaking and writing
• Quality and safety awareness
• Independent working and enjoyment of working in a team
