Description of tasks Maintenance, review, and classification of product master data in the area of customs and trade compliance (e.g., customs tariff numbers, country of origin, preference and export control data) Consulting and supporting internal stakeholders on customs, export control, and trade compliance issues Shared responsibility for the implementation and monitoring of export control and sanctions regulations Collaboration in cross-departmental customs and compliance projects Monitoring regulatory changes and ensuring compliance with legal requirements and internal guidelines Conducting training and awareness-raising measures to promote compliance awareness Support during audits and official inspections Creation and further development of guidelines, working instructions, and process documentation in the area of trade compliance Support in optimizing and further developing customs and trade compliance processes in cooperation with international stakeholders Key user for trade compliance applications as well as support during system adjustments and tests Profile Technical, logistical, or commercial basic training Advanced training as a foreign trade specialist with a federal certificate of proficiency, customs specialist, or equivalent qualification is an advantage Several years of professional experience in import, export, or customs environment Experience in the area of trade compliance and interest in international customs and export control topics In-depth knowledge in the area of product origin, preference law, and supplier declarations Knowledge of commodity classification and master data maintenance (HS codes, CH/EU/UK classification) Good user knowledge of MS Office and ideally experience with trade compliance systems Very good German and English language skills (level C1) in word and writing Analytical, structured, and independent working method High quality orientation, pronounced communication skills, and enjoyment of collaboration with various stakeholder groups Benefits Unique, family-like culture with long-term and sustainable corporate management Internal course and leisure offer as well as support for external further education Modern working time models, such as home office Free parking, or commuting contributions for public transportation Attractive benefits with our pension fund and social insurance
