To complement our dynamic kitchen team at the Langnau location, we are looking for a:

Your scope of activity

Do you want to contribute your ideas and expertise and make a difference together with a committed team? Then you have come to the right place.

Your tasks include:

• The careful and professional preparation and plating of meals for patients, restaurant guests, and employees
• The consistent compliance with dietary requirements as well as hygiene and quality standards
• Collaboration in the menu office and the recording of menu requests in our electronic menu recording system OrgaCard
• Active cooperation in the kitchen team and participation in a varied, needs-based catering service

What you bring with you

• Completed training as Köchin / Koch EFZ
• Ideally further training as a Diet Cook or the motivation to acquire this expertise with us
• Whether with professional experience or at the beginning of your career: We look forward to your application
• Independent, reliable, and creative way of working as well as enjoyment of teamwork
• Readiness for shifts on weekends and public holidays
• Flexibility, sense of responsibility, and a strong understanding of quality

Special vacation plans? If the annual 25 to 32 vacation days are sometimes not enough, the possibility of unpaid leave can be examined with us. Our employees also receive an additional day off for their birthday!

GAV

Our terms of employment are generally based on the Collective Labour Agreement (GAV) for the personnel of Berner Spitäler und Kliniken.

Culinary

Our kitchens in Burgdorf and Langnau work largely with seasonal, healthy, and local products. Employees benefit from a discount and can treat themselves to a versatile buffet selection. Microwaves for self-brought food are also available.
