The Position
At the Kaiseraugst location, around 1,800 employees with innovative spirit and the highest quality standards ensure the continuous supply of patients worldwide. As part of Pharma Technical Operations (PT), the site is a central pillar of sterile drug production at Roche.
As Asset Operation Manager, you have a key role in making the Asset Vials Packaging in the Manufacturing Unit MU Assembly & Packaging fit for the future! In this function, you are a central figure in identifying, driving, and implementing process improvements. In doing so, you contribute to ensuring the quality of our products and improving the efficiency and robustness of our production. In addition, as the deputy of the Asset Lead, you bear the responsibility for making operational decisions in consultation with the packaging team.

The Opportunity
You support the Asset Leads: In all matters, to ensure smooth processes within the operational teams.
Representation of the Asset Lead: You take over operational decisions as needed in consultation with TL, AEL and TACL and ensure continuity in production operations.
Monitoring operational readiness: You are part of the management team and support the smooth running of production operations and ensure that all processes run efficiently and critical materials are available.
Coordination of production processes: Across shift boundaries and in consultation with the team leaders, you coordinate processes to ensure optimal productivity.
Interface management: You act as the central communication interface to Material Management, MSAT, Engineering and global functions.
Risk and opportunity assessment: You perform regular analyses in the production operations to evaluate operational optimizations and take corresponding measures.
Operations SPOC during shutdowns: You coordinate shutdown activities for the operational teams in consultation with the Team Leads.
Troubleshooting Support: You support the Asset Excellence Team and the Team Leads during critical incidents.
Availability for on-call work if required.

Who You Are
Completed scientific or technical studies or comparable vocational training in combination with many years of professional experience. Several years of professional experience in the GMP environment, ideally in the packaging of sterile drugs.
Experience in processing deviations, changes and CAPAs as well as in project management.
You bring a quick grasp of matters and great interest in technical processes, combined with proficient handling of IT systems.
You enjoy taking on responsibility and show great willingness and curiosity for personal development and cross-departmental learning.
A structured and assertive way of working.
Fluent German and very good English skills.
