Deputy Head FMS, 80-100% The Kantonsschule Olten teaches around 1100 students at the Gymnasium, at the Fachmittelschule (FMS), at the Sekundarstufe P and in the Vorkurs PH and employs around 175 employees. For the school management of the Kantonsschule Olten, we are looking for a Deputy Head FMS, 80-100% at the Olten location per or after agreement. Your responsibility You are a member of the school management. In this role, you are responsible for the pedagogical and organizational leadership of the departments Fachmittelschule, Fachmaturität Gesundheit und Soziale Arbeit as well as the Vorkurs PH. You take over the leadership of the teachers and employees assigned to you, implement the decisions of the school management as well as the cantonal requirements and actively help shape school and quality development. The provision of instruction is also part of your workload. Your profile You have a completed university education, a teaching diploma (Sek II) with several years of professional experience as a secondary school teacher as well as training in school leadership or the willingness to complete this. We expect a convincing leadership personality with a strong will to shape and high presentation competence. The familiarity with issues from the area of FMS/FM/Vorkurs PH and an awareness of cooperation with both transferring and receiving institutions are among your strengths, as is the recognition and use of spheres of action and a vision regarding the development of the FMS.
