The Spitäler Schaffhausen as an employer
Die Spitäler Schaffhausen comprise the Kantonsspital, the Psychiatrischen Dienste, the Radiologie and Kardiologie Posthof Neuhausen practices, as well as the Neurologie Schaffhausen Zentrum practice. With over 1'700 employees, we ensure the expanded basic medical and nursing care of the Schaffhausen region. Annually, we care for approximately 11'000 inpatient and 90'000 outpatient patients. Furthermore, we are an important training site in the canton.

To strengthen our team in long-term psychiatry at the Psychiatriezentrum Breitenau, we are looking for a Dipl. Pflegefachfrau / Pflegefachmann HF (80-100%) as of 1. November 2026 or by arrangement.

On our 4 stations of long-term psychiatry with 18 beds each, chronically mentally ill women and men with cognitive impairments, restrictions in independent life and everyday management, or pronounced behavioral abnormalities are cared for. Furthermore, the stations offer low-threshold rehabilitation programs for patients who subsequently return to their original circumstances or move to another institution.

Nursing and care of patients with chronic mental illnesses and impairments
Support of patients in independent life and everyday management and the guarantee of the highest possible quality of life
Assumption of daily and professional responsibility
Reference person work with management of the nursing process
Planning and accompaniment of medical rounds
Leading of nursing reports and professional nursing discussions
Participation in the accompaniment and support of FAGE learners and Studierende Pflege HF on the ward
