Exciting tasks await:

• Planning, creating, and conducting training for partner organizations and emergency forces, specifically the Regional Leadership Bodies and the Cantonal Einsatzleiter
• Creating and conducting staff framework and operational exercises for staffs and partner organizations of civil protection
• Participation in training and exercises as course instructor, class teacher, exercise leader, and observer
• Participation in the support of the Regional Leadership Bodies
• Management and participation in section projects according to the instructions of the section head.

What you bring:

• Sound experience in Swiss civil protection, e.g., from fire department, police, military service, or civil protection
• Experience and training in the field of adult education (methodology, didactics, practical implementation, etc.), for example as an instructor
• Experience in project management and recognized project management certification
• Conceptual, independent working and high organizational skills
• Sound knowledge in staff work is an advantage

If suitable, participation in the Cantonal Leadership Staff (KFS) or performing on-call duty for the KFS is possible.

Your working environment

The population is at the center of the activities of the Departement Gesundheit und Soziales. For the safety of their living areas, we work sustainably and purposefully. The Abteilung Militär und Bevölkerungsschutz fulfills mandates in the areas of military, military service exemption, as well as population and civil protection. We are also the administrative hub for members of the army and civil protection in the Canton Aargau. The employees are responsible for the training and the coordination of operations within the framework of civil protection.
