Security Engineer

The Spitäler Schaffhausen are in the midst of digital transformation. As an ICT Security Engineer, you take on a central role in protecting our critical infrastructure and make a direct contribution to a secure hospital operation. ### What to expect from you • Responsibility for the operation and further development of our ICT security solutions • Monitoring of security systems, early detection of threats and initiation of targeted measures • Analysis and processing of security incidents, including ensuring a sustainable solution • Identification of vulnerabilities, risk assessment and coordination of suitable countermeasures • In your role, you will advise ICT projects and accompany new technologies from a security perspective • Active further development of our security processes and architecture • Support in risk analyses and in the expansion and operation of the ISMS • Close cooperation with IT, departments and external partners • Promotion of security awareness throughout the entire organization What you bring to us • Completed training or studies in the field of computer science or IT security or equivalent • Several years of experience in a similar function • In-depth knowledge of network and system security, firewalls, endpoint security, vulnerability management and identity & access management • Experience with cloud and hybrid IT environments • Knowledge of information security management, risk analysis and standards such as ISO 27001 or NIST is an advantage • Analytical, structured and solution-oriented way of working • Ability to evaluate risks in a comprehensible manner and communicate them in a target-group-specific manner • Independent, responsible personality with team spirit Family friendliness The Spitäler Schaffhausen as an employer The Spitäler Schaffhausen include the Kantonsspital, the Psychiatrische Dienste, the Praxen Radiologie and Kardiologie Posthof Neuhausen and the Praxis Neurologie Schaffhausen Zentrum. With over 1'700 employees, we ensure the extended medical and nursing basic care of the Schaffhausen region. Every year, we care for around 11'000 inpatient and 90'000 outpatient patients. We are also an important training center in the canton.
