The Universitätsklinik für Forensische Psychiatrie und Psychologie offers inpatient, day-clinic, outpatient and outreach services for patients with psychiatric illnesses who are in deprivation of liberty or undergoing treatment due to court-ordered measures. Patients are also treated on a civil legal basis if the clinical picture suggests treatment in forensic psychiatry due to the expertise available there. An exciting and versatile field of work in acute psychiatry, collaboration in a committed nursing and treatment team, as well as a wide range of internal and external continuing education opportunities await you.

Your tasks

• You take over the holistic care and support of patients with psychiatric clinical pictures in penal execution
• You promote and support learners and students from various training areas
• You contribute actively to the improvement of nursing quality and to the further development of the nursing profession
• You work closely in the interprofessional team
• You implement milieu-therapeutic approaches for the organization of patients' daily lives

Your profile

• You have several years of experience in the forensic-psychiatric field and/or in acute psychiatry
• You possess high resilience and social competence
• You have experience in key person work and in the implementation of the nursing process
• You have interest and experience in aggression management and in de-escalation
• You are interested in working with patient groups in a milieu-therapeutic setting
• You are motivated for a partnership-based, interdisciplinary collaboration
• You master the German language and can ideally converse in French or English in a business context
