To support the Fachstelle für Gleichstellung, we are looking for a motivated and experienced personality, effective immediately or by arrangement.

Tasks ##

• You independently initiate, design, and lead projects to promote the legal and factual equality of lesbians, gay men, bisexuals, trans, and intersex people.
• You create fundamentals and tools such as fact sheets and brochures and process matters from politics and administration in this subject area.
• You work actively with other administrative offices of the Stadt Zürich and external cooperation partners from non-governmental organizations and external administrations.
• You contribute your proven equality expertise to the Fachstelle.
• You represent the Fachstelle professionally internally (city administration) and externally (Stadt Zürich and others).

Profile ##

• University degree in humanities, social sciences, or political science or comparable training
• Several years of professional experience in project management and proven specialist knowledge in the equality of all genders, particularly in the LGBTI subject area, as well as professional experience at the interface of administration and politics
• An independent and careful way of working, high implementation strength, and agile approach
• A quick grasp of complex relationships and the ability to explain these clearly and understandably, both in writing and orally, for the various stakeholders and project participants

The Fachstelle für Gleichstellung is the competence center for the legal and factual equality of women and men as well as lesbians, gay men, bisexuals, trans, and intersex people in the Stadt Zürich. It is a point of contact for the population and organizations of the Stadt Zürich on the one hand, and for the employees of the Zürcher Stadtverwaltung on the other. The Fachstelle belongs to the Präsidialdepartement and is directly subordinate to the Stadtpräsidium.
