Manager Safety Office / Pharmacovigilance (60-80%) The Swiss Cancer Institute is the national network for clinical cancer research in Switzerland. Since 1965, we have been committed as a non-profit organization to improving cancer treatment for the population. In accordance with our vision "Clinical research for a cure tomorrow", we conduct clinical studies in oncology and are the central contact point for authorities, professional associations, and the pharmaceutical industry. Around 70 employees at the competence center in Bern work closely with all the leading oncological clinics in the country. To strengthen our pharmacovigilance team, we are looking for a motivated, reliable, and service-oriented personality as Manager Safety Office/Pharmacovigilance 60 - 80% immediately or by arrangement. Your tasks: Processing of study-specific safety reports and signals from oncological studies (writing narratives, query management) Internal and external contact person for the assessment of study-specific safety signals Creation and processing of safety reports for oncological studies (quarterly reports, as well as annual safety reports in various formats) Assessment of the benefit/risk ratio of changes to the Investigators’ Brochure with regard to Swiss Cancer Institute studies Training of internal employees and employees of the Swiss Cancer Institute network on safety-relevant topics in connection with clinical studies Further development of pharmacovigilance processes What you bring: Completed degree in human medicine with clinical experience, ideally in the field of oncology (preferred further training in medical oncology Interest in clinical research, scientific questions, and pharmacovigilance Independence, reliability, adherence to deadlines, and pragmatism Very good communication skills Ability to work in a team and the competence to work across departments Analytical thinking and a high degree of quality awareness Organized and efficient handling of administrative tasks Excellent English and German skills, as well as good French and ideally also Italian skills What we offer: Look forward to a versatile area of responsibility with meaning and impact – in close proximity to Bern station and in a collegial, committed team.
