Help shape urban mobility

For a growing city in the Greater Zurich area, we are looking for a specialist with higher education in transport planning, spatial planning, construction/engineering, or transport technology and several years of experience in the field of transport, mobility, or infrastructure.

The task combines technical planning with project management and coordination. The focus is on demanding projects at the interface of transport, mobility, infrastructure, and urban development. A background as a civil engineer with an appropriate connection to transport and infrastructure is also of interest for this function.

You develop solution approaches, accompany projects through various phases, and bring internal departments, external planners, and other stakeholders together in a goal-oriented manner. In doing so, the position offers a lot of independence and the opportunity to help shape the future development of the urban transport space.

• Coordination with internal specialist departments, authorities, and other project partners
• Contribution of the transport perspective to interdisciplinary projects
• Representation of municipal interests towards external stakeholders
• Collaboration on overarching issues of transport and urban development

Your competencies

• Several years of professional experience in transport or mobility planning, infrastructure, or a comparable environment
• Experience in the independent management and control of demanding projects
• Experience in the coordination of internal specialist departments as well as external planning and engineering offices
• Experience in dealing with authorities and other project partners
• Communication and negotiation skills
• Good IT user knowledge; CAD experience is an advantage
