What you can look forward to.

The Occupational Social Counseling supports employees of SBB who no longer know how to proceed due to professional or private problems. Social counseling serves the interest of health and safety - for the employees, for the company and thus for the customers. Together with your colleagues at the locations Zülch, Olten, Bern, Lausanne and Bellinzona, you advise employees and managers from over 150 different professions and contribute to the quality assurance of our counseling services through supra-regional cooperation.

What you can move.

• As an occupational social counselor, you advise employees of various hierarchical levels and occupational groups on personal, family, health and financial problems as well as difficulties in the workplace.
• You take on thematic responsibility and further develop our services. In doing so, you make a valuable contribution to the quality assurance of the occupational social counseling SBB Switzerland-wide.
• In addition to on-site and online consultations, you also regularly take on duties at the central contact point (multilingual) and conduct brief telephone consultations.
• You work closely with your team, which consists of experienced counselors with different professional focuses (social counseling, case management, early intervention, career counseling, vocational reorientation).

What you bring with you.

• As an interested and proactive person, you can become enthusiastic about the diversity of topics and the stance of the occupational social counseling and can quickly familiarize yourself with company-internal processes and their possible further development.
• You process your cases pragmatically, with pronounced counseling competence and a high quality standard. Teamplay is a matter of course for you.
• In dealing with your fellow human beings, you are characterized by high integrity, trustworthiness and empathy.
• You bring several years of professional experience in social counseling, ideally in an occupational context with topics such as conflicts at the workplace, psychosocial counseling, health, budget, social insurance and pension issues.
• For this position, we require a university degree at least at Bachelor level (FH, Uni) in social work. Further training in the field of conflict management is an advantage.
• In addition to very good written and oral German skills, you have good, counseling-secure language skills in a second national language (French or Italian).
