Junior Service Technician

Welcome to the pulsating heart of our parcel center in Frauenfeld! As a Junior Service Technician, you will support our technical team in ensuring the availability and reliability of our sorting, conveyor, and operating systems. You can expect a diverse technical environment in which you can contribute your expertise, take on responsibility, and develop professionally and personally.

What you can achieve

• Together with the technical team, you ensure the reliable and timely maintenance of our sorting, conveyor, and operating systems, thereby contributing to high system availability.
• You systematically analyze technical malfunctions, perform targeted troubleshooting, and resolve them independently or together with experienced service technicians.
• Maintenance, inspection, and repair work are among your tasks, as well as support with mechanical as well as, within the scope of your qualification, electrical, pneumatic, and control technology work.
• You identify technical weaknesses at an early stage, contribute suggestions for improvement, and participate in optimization and maintenance measures.
• For traceable documentation, you record malfunctions, maintenance work, and repairs in our digital maintenance and documentation systems.
• During ongoing operations, you support the technical shift management and, with increasing experience, take on additional responsibility in the technical day-to-day business.
• Even in dynamic situations, you work reliably, in a structured and solution-oriented manner, and consistently adhere to our operating, work, and safety regulations.

What you bring with you

• A completed technical vocational training EFZ, for example as a Polymechaniker:in, Produktionsmechaniker:in, Automatiker:in, Automatikmonteur:in, or Landmaschinenmechaniker:in, forms your professional foundation.
• Initial professional experience in maintenance, service technology, operating technology, or in a technical plant environment is an advantage. Even more important to us are your technical understanding and your willingness to learn.
• An independent, structured, and reliable way of working distinguishes you as much as initiative and a sense of responsibility.
• As a team player, you communicate openly and maintain an overview even during malfunctions and under time pressure.
• You bring good user knowledge in IT. Experience with SAP, ideally SAP PM in the area of maintenance, is an additional plus.
• You have good German skills in speaking and writing, as well as the willingness for 2-shift operation in the time window from 07:00 to 03:00, complete your profile.
