La Fondation La Pouponnière et l’Abri aims to work in favor of children and more particularly young children and their families, notably by welcoming them within the framework of its nine institutions: five early childhood centers (CVE), two emergency reception boarding houses, the Mother-Child Educational Reception (AEME), and the Meeting Space Service Unit (UPER).

Mission and responsibilities

• In a pair with another night watcher, guarantee the smooth running of the night in the living area, for a group of 10 to 12 children, aged 0 to 6 years
• Ensure the protection and safety of children, ensure their well-being
• Manage the emergency reception of children during the night if necessary
• Coordinate with the educational team and transmit useful information to them
• Undertake the logistical activities inherent to the function

Profile sought

• Basic training related to the fields of social work, health, or childhood (for example CRS health auxiliary)
• Experience in the care of newborns and young children
• Experience in night watching in a similar environment, an asset
• Good personal organization, autonomy, ability to adapt and management of priorities
• Excellent listening skills, empathy and team spirit
• Availability during the week and on weekends
• Clean criminal record
