For the Loogarten school of the City of Zurich, we are looking for a speech therapist to strengthen our team, starting immediately or by arrangement. With approx. 270 students, the Loogarten school is a medium-sized school in the Schulkreis Letzi - one of seven school districts in the City of Zurich. The school unit consists of 2 double kindergartens, 3 lower primary classes, and 6 middle primary classes. It is an innovative QUIMS school with children from all over the world. Tasks ## • You conduct assessments and determine the therapy needs of students with language, speech, and communication difficulties, with and without special education status. • You conduct speech therapy in individual and group settings. • You offer integrative speech therapy support services and specialist consultations. • You offer advice and cooperation with the contact persons of the therapy children, such as parents / legal guardians, teachers, and specialists. • You are committed to the networking of speech therapy at the school. Profile ## • EDK-recognized diploma in speech therapy or the willingness to obtain EDK recognition for a foreign diploma • Joy and commitment in dealing with students with special needs and from different cultures • Independent and results-oriented way of working as well as enjoyment of collegial professional exchange • Willingness to always keep your own specialist knowledge up to date • Confident use of digital aids for the performance of administrative tasks We offer ## The Speech Therapy Specialist Unit offers you an exciting, varied, and meaningful activity in a working environment in which you can extensively contribute your therapeutic skills and your speech therapy specialist knowledge. These offers are available to children and adolescents of all grade levels. The City of Zurich speech therapists work either at a regular school with students with and without special education status (ISR) or at locations of the Heilpädagogische Schule with students in separate school settings.
