Your mission

The context and your future department

The rehabilitation and geriatrics department has 47 rehabilitation beds and 8 acute geriatrics beds, as well as a strong outpatient activity. The department is currently in a dynamic of strong development, driven by a project to increase acute geriatrics beds, the creation of neurological rehabilitation beds, and the deployment of our outpatient offering. You will join a multidisciplinary medical team (internists, specialists in MPR, rheumatologists, neurologists) working in close synergy with all our rehabilitation specialists (physiotherapists, occupational therapists, neuropsychologists, speech therapists, dietitians, and psychologists).

Your missions and objectives

• Clinical excellence: Ensure and contribute to the excellence of clinical services in the field of neurology and participate in its outpatient development.
• Development: Actively participate in the creation and development of outpatient and inpatient activity in neurology.
• Leadership and management: Contribute to the management, organization, and representation of the department.
• Transmission: Develop and participate in the teaching of doctors in training, as well as the animation of various colloquia.
• Interdisciplinarity: Work hand in hand with the nursing and therapeutic teams to ensure global, coordinated care oriented towards achieving the patient's goals.
• Network: Collaborate closely with the acute care teams, other HIB specialists, and our external partners.
• Continuity of care: Participate in the continuity of care with other doctors in the department.

Your assets

• You hold a federal medical diploma and possess a specialist title in Neurology (or a foreign title recognized by MEBEKO)
• Competence in EMG and/or a particular interest in neurological rehabilitation would be an asset.
• You are recognized for your ability and taste for working within an interdisciplinary team.
